Campagne & Media

Interim support press officers

Do you need some extra hands in the press department? We can help to get the campaign or the project in the news. We have a good sense of how news works, we have a good (international) media network and we know how to write. We also coach and guide spokespersons in preparing and giving interviews.

Media training

A clear message

The purpose of the training is that participants feel more confident and safe when dealing with the media. We teach participants how to formulate a clear message and how to stick to this message during the interview. For this we use core messages. Participants are given the opportunity to practice several interviews in front of a camera.

Create news

Many organizations want to be more proactive, and make news themselves. But how do you do that? For many people it is difficult to assess what is “news” and to think about what the media are interested in. In our trainings, we make participants aware of the different criteria that determine whether something is news and how to make your own themes and topics newsworthy. In the training we teach participants to look at the news from a journalist’s perspective.

A good network

Good contacts with the media are crucial to an organization. But how do you build a network? Who in an organization maintains the contacts? What are the do’s and don’ts? In a network training, we  teach participants how to deal with the media in a professional and effective way.

Our media training is given by Ingrid. Ingrid has followed a training course at The Galan School for Training. In recent years, she has provided media training for: the Aids Fund, FNV Bouw, ABVAKABO FNV, FNV Allies, the Gelderse Milieu Federatie, the Dutch Red Cross and Greenpeace.

Before the training, arrangements with the client are made about the exact content of the training.
